Detarium macrocarpum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan tropis Afrika barat dan barat-tengah. Nama ilmiah Detarium macrocarpum diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Hermann Harms pada tahun 1901.
