Dianthera speciosa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Acanthaceae (suku jeruju-jerujuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kolombia hingga Venezuela utara. Nama ilmiah Dianthera speciosa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Christian Gottfried Daniel Nees von Esenbeck pada tahun 1893.
