Dianthus giganteus subsp. croaticus merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Caryophyllaceae yang tumbuh dalam bentuk perdu kecil atau semak. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Semenanjung Balkan barat laut. Nama ilmiah Dianthus giganteus subsp. croaticus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Vinczé von Borbás pada tahun 1964.
