Diascia patens merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Scrophulariaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape selatan. Nama ilmiah Diascia patens pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Peter Thunberg pada tahun 1941.
