Diastatea costaricensis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Campanulaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Amerika tengah. Nama ilmiah Diastatea costaricensis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Rogers McVaugh pada tahun 1940.
