Dichaetophora campestris merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Tibet, China (Sichuan, Yunnan dan Guangxi), hingga Indo-China. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan plainsdaisy. Nama ilmiah Dichaetophora campestris pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Asa Gray pada tahun 1849.
