Dichanthelium breve adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Florida tengah dan selatan. Nama ilmiah Dichanthelium breve pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Albert Spear Hitchcock pada tahun 2018.
