Dichanthelium linearifolium adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kanada bagian tengah dan timur, Amerika Serikat bagian utara, tengah, hingga dan timur. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan slimleaf panicgrass. Nama ilmiah Dichanthelium linearifolium diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Frank Lamson Scribner pada tahun 1974.
