Dichanthelium mattamuskeetense merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Massachusetts hingga Florida. Nama ilmiah Dichanthelium mattamuskeetense pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis William Willard Ashe pada tahun 1985.
