Dichanthelium sphaerocarpon adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kanada tenggara, Ekuador, Kuba, hingga Brazil tenggara. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan roundseed panicgrass. Nama ilmiah Dichanthelium sphaerocarpon pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Stephen Elliott pada tahun 1974.
