Dichanthelium tenue adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Amerika Serikat bagian tenggara hingga Meksiko. Nama ilmiah Dichanthelium tenue pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Gotthilf Heinrich Ernst Muhlenberg pada tahun 2002.
