Dichanthium fecundum merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Papua. Nama ilmiah Dichanthium fecundum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Stanley Thatcher Blake pada tahun 1944.
