Dichanthium tenue merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Australia timur. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan slender bluestem. Nama ilmiah Dichanthium tenue pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Robert Brown pada tahun 1921.
