Dichapetalum sordidum merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Dichapetalaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Malaya hingga Sumatra (Kepulauan Riau). Nama ilmiah Dichapetalum sordidum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Joseph Dalton Hooker pada tahun 1956.
