Dichocarpum trachyspermum merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Ranunculaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Jepang tengah dan selatan. Nama ilmiah Dichocarpum trachyspermum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Maximowicz pada tahun 1964.
