Dichondra repens merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Convolvulaceae (suku kangkung-kangkungan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis. Nama ilmiah Dichondra repens pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Johann Reinhold Forster pada tahun 1776.
