Dichorisandra hirtella merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Commelinaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil timur laut. Nama ilmiah Dichorisandra hirtella pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Friedrich Philipp von Martius pada tahun 1830.
