Dichoropetalum aureum merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Apiaceae (suku adas-adasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Türkiye selatan-tengah, Lebanon hingga Israel. Nama ilmiah Dichoropetalum aureum diperkenalkan oleh Pierre Edmond Boissier pada tahun 2007.
