Dicoma montana merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Provinsi Utara (Northen). Nama ilmiah Dicoma montana pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Herold Georg Wilhelm Johannes Schweickerdt pada tahun 1935.
