Dicoma prostrata merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Provinsi Utara (Northen). Nama ilmiah Dicoma prostrata diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Herold Georg Wilhelm Johannes Schweickerdt pada tahun 1935.
