Dicomopsis welwitschii merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Angola. Nama ilmiah Dicomopsis welwitschii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Karl August Otto Hoffmann pada tahun 2013.
