Dicymbe paruensis merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Venezuela (Amazonas). Nama ilmiah Dicymbe paruensis diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Richard Sumner Cowan pada tahun 1985.
