Digitaria phaeotricha adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari RD Kongo hingga Angola. Nama ilmiah Digitaria phaeotricha pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Emilio Chiovenda pada tahun 1931.
