OVATE DILLENIA Dilleniaovata Wall. ex Hook.f. & Thomson
Dillenia ovata adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Dilleniaceae (suku simpur-simpuran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Indo-China hingga Sumatra. Di Indonesia tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan nama simpur minyak, pisang maru (Sumatra), atau simpur darut (Melayu). Nama ilmiah Dillenia ovata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Nathaniel Wallich pada tahun 1855.
