Simpur pilipina merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Dilleniaceae (suku simpur-simpuran). Tumbuhan yang dikenal dengan nama ilmiah Dillenia philippinensis ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Filipina. Nama ilmiah Dillenia philippinensis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Robert Allen Rolfe pada tahun 1884.
