Dimeria avenacea adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah India selatan, Sri Lanka, Myanmar. Nama ilmiah Dimeria avenacea pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Anders Johan Retzius pada tahun 1932.
