Diospyros acuta adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Ebenaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Sri Lanka barat daya. Nama ilmiah Diospyros acuta pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis George Henry Kendrick Thwaites pada tahun 1860.
