Diospyros barteri adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Ebenaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Ghana selatan, Nigeria selatan, hingga Rep. Kongo. Nama ilmiah Diospyros barteri pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis William Philip Hiern pada tahun 1873.
