Diospyros bernieriana merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Ebenaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Madagaskar timur. Nama ilmiah Diospyros bernieriana pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Henri Ernest Baillon pada tahun 1952.
