Diospyros caloneura merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Ebenaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah China (Yunnan). Nama ilmiah Diospyros caloneura pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Cheng Yih Wu pada tahun 1965.
