Diospyros impia merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Ebenaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Brazil (Bahia, EspĂrito Santo). Nama ilmiah Diospyros impia pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Bruno Wallnöfer pada tahun 2020.
