Diospyros polita adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Ebenaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Sulawesi. Nama ilmiah Diospyros polita diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Reinier Cornelis Bakhuizen van den Brink pada tahun 1941.
