Diospyros pruriens adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Ebenaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah India. Nama ilmiah Diospyros pruriens pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Nicol Alexander Dalzell pada tahun 1852.
