Diplostephium espinosae merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Ekuador. Nama ilmiah Diplostephium espinosae pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis José Cuatrecasas pada tahun 1953.
