Diplostephium haenkei merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Peru hingga Bolivia. Nama ilmiah Diplostephium haenkei pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Hugh Algernon Weddell pada tahun 1857.
