Disa hians merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Orchidaceae (suku anggrek-anggrekan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk bonggol berbentuk umbi. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape selatan. Nama ilmiah Disa hians pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Linnaeus the Younger pada tahun 1826.
