Dischistocalyx thunbergiiflora merupakan tumbuhan perdu atau semak dari famili Acanthaceae (suku jeruju-jerujuan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh menjalar. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Nigeria selatan hingga kawasan tropis Afrika bagian barat-tengah. Nama ilmiah Dischistocalyx thunbergiiflora pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Thomas Anderson pada tahun 1893.
