Dissochaeta horrida merupakan tumbuhan perdu dari famili Melastomataceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh memanjat. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Sumatra Barat. Nama ilmiah Dissochaeta horrida pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Reinier Cornelis Bakhuizen van den Brink pada tahun 2018.
