Dolichos fragrans merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh memanjat. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Thailand. Nama ilmiah Dolichos fragrans diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Arthur Francis George Kerr pada tahun 1941.
