Dombeya macrophylla merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Malvaceae (suku kapas-kapasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Madagaskar tengah. Nama ilmiah Dombeya macrophylla diperkenalkan oleh Jean Arènes pada tahun 1958.
