Dombeya tubulosoviscosa merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Malvaceae (suku kapas-kapasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Madagaskar barat laut. Nama ilmiah Dombeya tubulosoviscosa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Bénédict Pierre Georges Hochreutiner pada tahun 1926.
