Donnellsmithia ternata merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Apiaceae (suku adas-adasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering di wilayah Meksiko utara dan barat. Nama ilmiah Donnellsmithia ternata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Sereno Watson pada tahun 1973.
