Dryadodaphne novoguineensis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Atherospermataceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Papua New Guinea. Di Indonesia tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan nama gukai (Papua). Nama ilmiah Dryadodaphne novoguineensis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis George Henry Perkins pada tahun 1942.
