Drymoanthus adversus merupakan tumbuhan epifit dari famili Orchidaceae (suku anggrek-anggrekan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Selandia Baru. Nama ilmiah Drymoanthus adversus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Joseph Dalton Hooker pada tahun 1967.
