Drypetes fallax adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Putranjivaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan tropis Afrika bagian barat-tengah. Nama ilmiah Drypetes fallax pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Ferdinand Albin Pax pada tahun 1922.
