Drypetes nitida merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Putranjivaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kepulauan Caroline (Palau). Nama ilmiah Drypetes nitida pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Ryōzō Kanehira pada tahun 1934.
