Drypetes principum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Putranjivaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Guinea, Gabon, Bioko, hingga Príncipe. Nama ilmiah Drypetes principum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Johannes Müller Argoviensis pada tahun 1912.
