Duboscia macrocarpa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Malvaceae (suku kapas-kapasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Nigeria selatan hingga kawasan tropis Afrika bagian barat-tengah. Nama ilmiah Duboscia macrocarpa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Henri Théophile Bocquillon pada tahun 1866.
