Duranta armata merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Verbenaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Peru. Nama ilmiah Duranta armata diperkenalkan oleh Harold Norman Moldenke pada tahun 1941.
