Dyschoriste crenulata merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Acanthaceae (suku jeruju-jerujuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Arizona, Oklahoma, hingga Meksiko (Baja California Norte, Sonora, dan Chihuahua). Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan wavyleaf snakeherb. Nama ilmiah Dyschoriste crenulata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Clarence Emmeren Kobuski pada tahun 1928.
